Gordon has a a graduate Engineering degree from Stanford University in Computer Systems Analysis and Design and a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA in Mathematics. For the past fourteen years he has been an expert witness in computer litigation. He knows the ins-and-outs of both computer hardware and computer software. Gordon is familiar with the architecture, programming and operation not only of computer disks and other digital media but also of computer hardware components. Before that, he spent several decades as a computer systems designer, analyst and programmer. He has years of experience with computer operating systems and application programs. Coaxing the last tiny bit of forensic information from a computer requires intensive training and years of living with the processes that are required for the creation, processing and retrieval of computer information. It also requires an intricate understanding of the electronic equipment on which and by which information is stored. Over the decades that Gordon has worked in Information Technology, in computer forensics and as an expert witness he has acquired the training, experience and understanding required for those tasks.
Gordon is the Principal Consultant and Expert Witness at Computer Forensics One and is available for a variety of expert engagements in computer science or computer forensics.
